Handmade leather combination fly rod/reel case.Made from walnut colored premium quality USA tanned bridle leather,sewn with heavy nylon thread,solid brass (not plated) hardware.Removeable PVC Insert makes for a nearly crush proof construction.Rod case is 54 inches long ,2 1/8 in dia(inside) and the shoulder strap shortens to double as a hand carry strap.NOTE-These rod cases are NOT to be confused with cheaper cases that are constructed of thin leather, glued to some sort of tubing-this case is made of heavy10-12 oz leather, wet formed into a perfect tube, then sewn lengthwise with heavy nylon thread,the end caps are sewn on, not glued.This means that even if the case gets wet,cut, scratched, or otherwise banged around, it will retain its integrity,the leather will not bubble,peel, or separate from the tube, COMPARE BEFORE YOU BUY!
The reel case is approx 4x4x2 inches,has a heavy brass zipper closure, is padded with wet suit material, and straps to the rod case.Extra reel cases can be purchased and fastened to the rod case, if you want to carry more than one reel.
